EIS Weekly Update – 21 March 19

Welcome to your weekly EIS Bulletin!

We appreciate how busy your inbox can become, so EIS will only send out Support & News messages every Thursday.

If there is something critical that our customers need to know immediately, we will of course send a message straightaway –

that way you will know the EIS email needs urgent action.

Below we have summarised what is new this week… if you have any queries, please get in touch!

Hot Off The Press!

Sports Premium and Pupil Premium Funding

SPS held 3 Breakfast Briefings last week in Ashford, Whitstable and Tonbridge – which were attended by a member of the SIMS team.  We highlighted the most effective way in which you can track and record your Sports Premium and Pupil Premium funding within the SIMS Interventions module.  This is part of the basic SIMS database, so every school already has this facility – there is no additional cost!

SIMS User Forum Date and Agenda

The next user forum will be on Wednesday 22 May 2019, 9.30am -12.30pm at the Mercure Tunbridge Wells Hotel in Pembury.

The agenda will focus on data analysis and how SIMS can help with particular areas such as attendance and assessment. This could be of interest to people in schools who undertake roles such as Data Manager, Attendance Officer or Assessment Co-ordinators, however all customers are welcome to come along and join us.

There are still places available and you can secure your free place by visiting www.kentcpdonline.org.uk Ref code S316.
