Protecting What’s Important: Cantium Service Update

A message from our CEO, Mark Scott.

As we face the unprecedented situation with COVID-19 we wanted to assure you that Cantium are committed to supporting your school or academy and to advise you of the business continuity measures that we have in place to ensure continuity of service.

At Cantium, our technology allows us to deliver our services and processes remotely. With the technology in place to support a workplace culture that embraces remote working, Cantium’s workforce is much less susceptible to disruptive events than many other organisations around us. Our teams can and already do work from different locations including home. We regularly test our Business Continuity Plans and our top priorities at this time are the safeguarding of our employees and customers and continuing to deliver an uninterrupted service. Should we need to close our offices we will switch to a completely remote working model without service interruption as we have extensive online capabilities for our employees to communicate with you.

Now that we are in the Delay Phase of the Government response, we recognise that as the situation develops there may be additional disruption to businesses. We are continuing to monitor the situation closely and will follow the official guidance from Public Health England. It may be that there comes a time when we need to ask you to pause on non-urgent requests so that we can continue to meet your standard service levels. We thank you in advance for your patience and will keep you informed should the situation change.

Finally, we are aware that as part of your company’s response, you may be looking for your staff to increase their remote working. This can put pressure on your infrastructure, including increased usage of VPNs, a requirement for more laptops or other mobile devices, increased server capacity or HR support. Cantium’s IT, HR & Finance professionals are here to help, please do contact us for any advice and support on 03000 411115.

We remain committed to help you through this period and will continue to update you as the situation develops through our website and other channels. However if you have any specific questions or concerns, please contact
